Accommodation: A slightly skanky (but expensive) hostel on Venice beach, L.A. Venice beach is on a strip of endless white sandy coastline. It is a bit like wandering around the side streets at Glastonbury but with more crazy and homeless people.
Highlights:
- Meeting Stroud High School friend Louise and her lovely family
- Walking to Santa Monica pier
- Playing on the equipment at muscle beach (see album)
- Bodyboarding – the best I’ve ever done!
