Today we walked the 6 hour return trip to the Luxmore Hut and back on the Kepler track, having been warning off attempting an overnight route by the people at the DOC centre (apparently there is still too much snow for it to be passable). It was a nice walk, mainly through the forest, but with great views once we passed the bush line and up towards the hut.
